The seas off Chumphon offer some of Asia’s best diving, with a spectacular variety of marine life, particularly on the vivid coral reefs that surround the 40 islands of the Chumphon Marine Park. A short drive into the interior will bring you to hill country and primary rain forest, where you can visit temples, waterfalls, caves, hot springs and some excellent rivers for white-water rafting.
Chumphon is one of the less explored regions of Thailand, and time spent here can be truly rewarding, offering unique experiences not be had elsewhere in the country.
